Panasonic launches with several surprises, one of them is this new type camera with a brig Superzoom, DMC-FZ38 (Lumix DMC-FZ35 in the U.S.). This is a very good option for those who want a great camera without going directly to the more expensive DSLR.

The Lumix DMC-FZ38 comes with a goal of 27mm and a powerful 18x zoom, 12 megapixel sensor and an image stabilizer under the name POWER OIS, which could well be the new Transformers Autobot. If you add to this an improved autofocus system, the more typical systems that can detect smiles, faces, flickering … you have a very powerful machine that almost makes the photos for you.

Unfortunately, these cameras do not even reach the level of the highest ranges of Canon or Nikon, is capable of recording in high definition, but not Full HD, it is more than enough at some 720p.
