A little over a year so we took as a mere curiosity. But is 3D displays that Hyundai will finally reach Europe. Both Hyundai W220S as Hyundai W240S, 22 and 24 inches respectively, arrive imminently to market the continent. And is that the screens are three dimensional and not just for the crazy Japanese geeks. Manufacturers of front line work with this system, TVs and laptops, to make it a reality.
Something must be afoot when a company like Hyundai Japan’s venture to penetrate the European market with a product whose technology is far from becoming standard but is becoming attractive. As with the tactile interfaces, the companies seem to have found a potential bonanza for the future. But barriers remain the same for these two models: lack of specific content that take advantage of the 3D (which is not true of two-dimensional images converted) and the mandatory use of special glasses.

The W240S is a specification that is more complete, as they enjoy full HD resolution (even higher: 1920 x 1200 pixels) with a response time of six milliseconds. In response W220S is reduced to five milliseconds, although the definition of 1680 x 1050 pixels is somewhat lower. Both have two three-watt integrated speakers each and HDMI video inputs and DVI.
As reported by Hyundai itself, LCDs are ready for distribution in Europe. The Hyundai W220S has an MSRP of $ 500 to some extent may be considered normal. In contrast, it costs 1400 euros Hyundai W240S is excessive craving for a screen, much to bring 3D, does not exceed 24 inches.
