Panasonic did not want to renounce their commitment to plasma technology and 3D cinema where the threat of an earthquake in our classrooms. In Japan, the company has unveiled the first Plasma TV with 3D technology.

The Panasonic TH-P54VT2 and TH-P50VT2 are the first models that integrate VT2 series Viera plasma display panels capable of playing 3D content. Their sizes are 54 and 50 inches respectively and come with a static contrast 5.000.000:1, plus 120 Hz technology to guarantee a minimum refresh images for each eye of the beholder.

Needless to say, the resolution of these new Viera plasma TV is 1080p. Also has four HDMI ports 1.4. In terms of technology we’ll need glasses, should be filling, not polarized. From time availability is not known in Europe.

Panasonic is one of the most active companies in the field of 3D image. Panasonic wants to make whole in the growing market of desktop multimedia devices, judging after the official presentation at CEATEC Japan 2009 models MW-10 and MW-7, two digital frames seventeen inch respectt which will be available in Japanese stores (the rest of the world must wait yet) on 23 October.
