The new Sony VW85 is a home theater projector that has collected the improvements that the Japanese brand is introducing on their screens for some time. The mission was to get a projector with high contrast and with improvements to enjoy him as a new generation screen outside.

The Sony VPL-VW85 projects imagens with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel and 24p True Cinema technology. This is important because we can get that cinematic feel if the source from which we extract the image is also compatible with that system.
But the novelty of this video projector from Sony is its dynamic contrast 120.000:1, which accompanies a brightness of 800 lumens, so it is indicated primarily for closed areas without much ambient light.

The Sony VW85 also features Motion Plus technology for 120 Hz to improve the video scenes with a lot of movement. With two HDMI inputs, PC input and two for component and composite video, the price of $ 8,000 it takes a bit of reach for many consumers.

The agreement between both companies is to sell the Pre smartphone from Palm, a direct competitor to Apple’s iPhone.

O2 subsidiaries and Spanish group Telefonica Movistar signed exclusive contracts to sell the new smartphone from Palm Pre, seen as the most iPhone of rival Apple, the markets of United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany and Spain.
Palm said Tuesday in a statement that O2 has the exclusive original United Kingdom, Ireland and Germany, while the Movistar in Spain, but did not specify the date from which other operators can sell the phone.

Movistar and O2 already have the exclusive iPhone (including the latest version of the phone) in United Kingdom and Spain, which gives them a competitive advantage over rivals such as Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile and 3 this summer.
The new Palm phone will be available in those European countries in time for the sales campaign before Christmas.
Palm, not about price, also said that the Pre debut in the Canadian market in the second half of the hands of Bell Mobility.
The Pre released in the United States last month, initially through the mobile network operator Sprint. Palm noted that in its first weekend broke records for the sale of the operator in the United States.
Palm hopes the Pre, who also competes directly with Research in Motion Blackberry, remove the company from the continuing losses it faces.

The group has pioneered in the 1990s in handheld electronic devices, but then it lagged behind competitors such as Apple or RIM, faster time to deploy models with popular applications such as music and email.
