The Nexus S has been out less than a week since Google launched the first software update today.
Latest generation (GRH78) weighs only 1.9 MB and includes some minor bug fixes.

To install the latest version of Nexus S with GRH78, follow these steps:
1. Download the update file from the Google server: GRH78-de-GRH55.zip
2. Copy the file to the SD card. The S Nexus can flash any file to be no need to change the name of update.zip
3. Turn off your phone.
4. Hold the VOLUME UP button and then on again.
5. Use the volume keys to scroll to the resilience and press to select.
6. When you see the message “/! “A symbol, hold the power button and press the UP VOLUME.
7. You should be presented with a menu of options should be “to apply the update from / sdcard”
8. Find the update file on your sdcard and press the power button to flash.
9. Wait for it to complete the upgrade and then select “restart now”
