Apple has just released the iPhone firmware update, version 3.0.1 of it. Apparently this update would be focused on solving the security problems reported with the SMS during the Black Hat conference in Las Vegas.

This security hole allows anyone with the necessary knowledge to take control of virtually any feature of the iPhone. Could browse, send SMS, make calls and even take pictures with the camera.
Apple, as happened with version 1.0 of the iPhone operating system, is bound to make a hasty update to address a security issue very seriously. But at least we can see how Apple responds quickly to problems and takes an update fixes. Thing that I at least, further reaffirms the confidence that I placed in the company.
