A complete computer built into a keyboard, something unimaginable a few years ago but could become reality very soon. The Asus Eee Keyboard will be sold in October, when it seems is becoming increasingly real, but does not have official confirmation from the manufacturer.

What we do know for sure is that will have a 1.6 GHz Atom, 1 GB of RAM and SSD storage format, 16 or 32 GB depending on the model chosen, with WiFi and VGA or HDMI output. This raises interesting but perhaps too innovative and daring for the times. And expensive, because we discussed that will start costing $ 400, rising to 600 for the more expensive model.
Bet of the Asus Eee Keyboard is not bad. Having a keyboard with which our central computer control, plus a small computer screen in the form beside him, in a 5-inch touchscreen. It also appears that it will further screen to control certain functions of the central computer, the principal, although it remains to what and how to perform this synchronization: what programs will be supported? How will the configuration? Or maybe they are only very limited functionality, such as multimedia playback control, volume and others.

It would be ideal to use as a completely independent computer, server or Web P2P download, for example, since the end of the day is a complete team. Hopefully not come in that limited sense, it seems the strongest and most interesting point of the device.
Will be given a chance, of course, although I personally do not convince me finish, although I do recognize that the idea is very good and innovative. I remember, the Asus Eee Keyboard will be available in October for a price from the $ 400 base model, to 600 for the most complete.
