The two new boards (VIA EPIA VB8002 and VB8003) all share a common multimedia features that allow users to enjoy the best video and audio in HD
The VB8002 has among its outstanding performance with a VIA Nano processor (at 1.6Ghz NanoBGA2), an HDTV and HD audio decoder. Take integrated CX700M2 generation chipset and offers the possibility of installing a memory module DDR2 533/667MHz up to 1GB capacity.
Its range of connections is the most complete and comprehensive on the market. It is noteworthy for its PCI slot, its ports ATA, SATA (x2) and 1GB LAN, and their 8-channel audio and graphics card TM UniChrome Pro II 2D/3D accelerator and WMV9 video decoding.
Its rear is reserved for a Gigabit LAN port, two USB and outputs for S-Video and composite video and audio components.
VB8002 The model also offers the possibility of having additional outputs such as: 4 USB, front audio, SCART connectors and LVSD, LPC and SMBus.
The VB8003 board as a major added features to its VX800 chipset, the new graphics chipset S3435ULP, which has 256MB of graphics memory. Such capability makes it the perfect item for multi-display capabilities in high definition through its four independent video outputs: two HDMI, one DVI and one VGA.
This model also has two modules compatible with DDR2 533/667MHz SODIMM memory with a capacity up to 4Gb. And just as happened with the previous model, the VB8003, we again show a wide range of connections: PCI card slot (x4), ports ATA, SATA (x2) and 1GB LAN (x2) and its channel HD audio.
His back has two Gigabit LAN ports, four USB connections for keyboard and mouse and two RCA for audio. As additional outlets, we find 2 USB, Front Audio, SPDIF connectors and LVSD, MFX, FIR, CIR, LPC and SMBus digital connectors and multipurpose (4GPI + 4GPO).
