The Sony Vaio laptops have been refurbished with new CW series, NW and Mini W. Housings are available with bright colors, and all come with the new Microsoft operating system, Windows 7, Home Premium version, except the mini Vaio W Series, which brings a Windows 7 Starter. All are available with Ethernet port and Wi-Fi specifications 802.11a/b/g/draft n.
The screens are of type X-Black LCD widescreen, and in cases of CW Series Mini and W-Series are backlit by LEDs. The smaller screen diagonal of 10.1 inches with the Mini Series is for W, and the largest with 15.5 inches is for the NW Series. In between is the CW series with 14 inches.
Almost all models have 4 GB of RAM, except the Mini Series W with only one megabyte. The processors are Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 in most products. Leaving aside for small computers Mini Series W, all include an optical drive compatible with DVD + R / RW and even Double Layer DVD-R/RW, and DVD-RAM. Only a NW Series product can play Blu-ray, it is the Sony VGN-NW11S.
The lighter machines are the Mini Series W with a weight of 1.19 kilograms and a 250 GB hard disk. Then go the CW Series (2.4 kilograms) with a 320GB hard drive. Finally, the weight of the NW series computers up to 2.7 kilograms, 500 GB hard drives and 320 GB.
In the CW series, the Sony VPCCW1S1E costs 799 euros. The retail price recommended by the NW Series models are: 800 euros for the Sony VGN-NW11S, 950 euros for the Sony VGN-NW11Z, and 950 euros for the Sony VGN-NW11Z. Finally, part of the Mini Series Vaio W, the VPC-W11S1E worth 500 euros.
