Sony has renewed one of its range fetish, Z series, with technologies that place it at the forefront. Besides the logic incorporating the Intel Core i7 everyone eventually integrated into their laptops, the Japanese company has opted overwhelmingly for SSD technology for storage in their new notebooks and placed them so-called Quad SSD, that come with the promise to increase the speed of accessing and writing data.
No change in the design, the Sony Vaio Z are using a screen of 13.1 inches, with aluminum body and carbon fiber to achieve a weight of 1.45 kg, like many ultraportables do not come far this team in performance or price .

Sony Vaio Z, innovating on the hard disk
If you skipped the Intel i7 processor and Nvidia GeForce GT 330M graphics, the highlight by far of the new Sony Vaio Z is the configuration Quad SSD for storage.
This places four drives in RAID 0 SSD to allow reading and writing data on all four at once. So, it makes access to data is almost 7 times faster than traditional disk 5400 rpm.
The graphics system based on Nvidia GeForce GT 330M solution, has the technology Dynamic Hybrid Graphics System that will detect the system needs to adapt its performance and toggle between internal or external solution. Thus, automatically switching between modes rendimento to take full advantage of the battery for example.
The RAM has not been dropped, and is standard 6 to 4 GB in the two models introduced today. The most notable is the Z11Z9E Vaio that includes a 13.1-inch screen with 1080p resolution LED technology.

Vaio Z11X9E and Vaio Z11Z9E, two new models
Two are currently two new members of the renewed range Z series Sony Vaio. The more complete the Z11Z9E Vaio, which comes with the Intel Core i7-620M 2.66 GHz, 6 GB of RAM and SSD MCU configuration with a total of 256GB of space.
The model is offered with the same processor but less speed, 4 GB RAM QUAD 128GB SSD and a 13.1-inch LED screen offers a lower resolution, 1600 × 900 pixels.
In both cases the visual appearance is shared the 330M GT Nvidia GeForce GPU and Intel integrated solution. Other interesting specifications are 3G connectivity and the number of accessories to expand its capabilities.
No price set yet, the new Vaio Z go on sale in late March.
