A few hours ago Apple has released the 4.2.2 update for Apple TV second generation. The new update does not introduce new features, but if it solves several problems and improves the stability of the device .
Some of the most important features of this new version are:
- Fixes a bug in the audio, which was issued when playing of the video content.
- Fix another issue where the video was not displayed when playing the content.
- Add an audio output setting for 16bit audio connection for compatibility with some TVs and AV receivers.
- Fixes an issue where the information of the description of some films will not be shown.
- It also fixes the problem whereby the subscription YouTube videos are not sorted by date.
To update your Apple TV you just need to turn it on and go to Settings> General> Update Software and follow all the steps on screen.
