External HDD Samsung S2 with SuperSpeed USB 3.0. Samsung Electronics launched the Samsung S2 Portable External HDD, with features on-board SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface and 7200RPM spindle speed, giving faster performance than previous versions.

SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface offers a maximum transfer speed of 5Gbps, compared to 480Mbps USB 2.0. Additional features include Dynamic Balancing technology of low vibration, low noise technology and NoiseGuard SilentSeek is contained in the Samsung S2.

Samsung S2 comes loaded with Samsung Auto Backup, SecretZone and SafetyKey for data encryption and password protection. External HDD Samsung S2 with SuperSpeed USB 3.0 2.5-inch are available in 320GB and 640GB storage capacity with delivery starting this month to countries in the European Union. Source: samsung.com
